Computer Vision and Recognition

We are pioneers in the field of Computer Vision and Recognition with several acclaimed programs and systems made over the years. Long before the advent of the internet as we know it or any type of digital camera or other device, Mr. Eyerman developed and designed the hardware and software used to digitize the image from a closed circuit television camera. The challenge was initiated when a major American corporation needed a way to 'see' and count their product. The process started by digitizing a television picture with a large computer. This evolved into using a closed circuit television camera and the smallest computer available in those days. Mr. Eyerman then developed an all new circuit board which put all the electronics into a self contained small box which fit onto the camera and needed only a small screen to view. The project grew into some of the first facial recognition software ever developed. The word about the concept blossomed and the concepts were used for commercial software for casino facial recognition and the same software was and is used on major crime related television programs. We believe that this was the first vision system for any computer. Mr. Eyerman still says today that the only mistake was never patenting these concepts with the financial help of the original company before the advent of any other digital imaging hardware or software. This now unbelievable breakthrough and financial potential was just never seen by that company in those years where businesses knew nothing about technology and Mr. Eyerman sadly could not afford to do it by himself in those early years.
